A little deeper into intuition
Intuition is your sixth sense. It is "knowing" without being able to explain how you know. You are connected to the soul level of your existence when you tap into your intuition. It allows you to predict things that have yet to happen and know things you've never seen, in places you've never been. The most power-full thing about intuition is that it can offer you creativity, guidance, peace, and knowledge in every situation you encounter. What makes using your intuition such a challenge, is that we've been taught to distrust anything but visible, tangible, "scientific" logic. To embrace intuition means sometimes operating without the safety net of this logic. Give up the need to know the what, why, when, and where of a situation. Open your heart to the mysterious. Trust your inner wisdom and respond to opportunities when they appear. Intuition does not proceed in logical steps, it usually reveals glimpses of reality in bits and pieces. Intuitive insights can come in many different ways. They can appear as visual symbols, pictures, or dreams; as words seen or heard in your consciousness, or as feelings or impressions. Insights may also be triggered by "outside sources" such as something someone says, something you read, or something that you see on television. Only you can interpret your symbols.
Consciously using your intuition takes guts because often insights seem illogical and you may not get confirmation that your "gut feeling" was right for months or even years. Understanding intuitive insights is a two-part process; receiving and interpreting. Even though the information we receive intuitively is always valid, we are human interpreters of this data. When we assemble and translate intuitive information it becomes subject to human error. Intuition shouldn't be used as the sole guide of your life. The best use of intuition is when it is balanced with logic to make decisions. Keep in mind that the more emotionally attached you are to a particular outcome, the more your feelings will interfere with both the receiving and interpreting of insights. The most important thing to remember is that intuition always has your best interest at heart. If you are receiving true intuitive insight, you will never be guided to hurt or injure someone in any way.
